About Keur Espoir

Keur Espoir is a Franco-Senegalese association founded in 2020, committed to social inclusion, education and solidarity through sport. Present in France and Senegal, it acts as a living bridge between territories, cultures and generations , to respond to contemporary social challenges.

Born from observations shared on the ground on both sides of the Mediterranean: persistent inequalities, youth precariousness, obstacles to women's emancipation, social isolation, civic disengagement, the association designs and implements projects with a strong local impact and international scope.

Its approach is cross-cutting and combines sport, education, civic engagement and solidarity cooperation, with a particular focus on those groups furthest from opportunities: young people who have fallen out of their comfort zone, women in precarious situations, residents of working-class neighborhoods or rural areas, as well as diasporas mobilized for change.

Our mission

Empower each and every person to take ownership of their life by building bridges through sport, education, and civic engagement, so they can (re)gain confidence and find their place in society.

We believe that every individual, regardless of their background or origins, carries within them the power to transform.
Our purpose is to create the right conditions for this empowerment, using sport, education, and solidarity as levers to break down inequalities, restore confidence, and open up new possibilities.

A world where sport, education and solidarity become universal levers of emancipation, social justice and sustainable transformation.
We dream of a society where every young person, every woman, every marginalized person regains confidence, fully exercises their rights and becomes an agent of change around them.
We imagine a future where territories, whether urban or rural, in France or in Africa, will be connected by bridges of knowledge, commitment and citizen cooperation.

Our objectives

Empower more young people to take action

Directly support more than 2,000 beneficiaries by 2027 through our educational, sports and solidarity programs, strengthening their confidence and empowerment.

Ensure the strength and growth of our resources

Increase our annual funding by 50% and diversify our sources of income to ensure the sustainability of our actions over the long term.

Help more children and teenagers achieve their high school diploma

Implement our projects in at least 3 new countries and develop 50 active partnerships to promote exchange, cooperation and civic engagement.
